About the Scheme
These three services are part of a safety initiative Safe As Houses through which the Fire Brigade and Camden Primary Care Trust are promoting a range of activities to reduce injuries in Camden.
Safe As Houses is being coordinated by Camden’s Home Safety and Security Delivery Group: on this group representatives of local authority, health and voluntary sector services are developing an effective and integrated strategy to improve safety and security in Camden. One objective is to increase the number of homes with a smoke alarm from 50% to 80%.
The services are funded by the Neighbourhood Renewal Fund for Camden and by Camden Council.
