The N19 Safety Net
Who can use the N19 Safety Net service?
Any Islington resident over 60 and living in N19. If we receive more requests than the service can help, we will respond first to requests from people with a higher risk of falling. You have a higher risk of being injured in a fall if you
- have had one or more falls.
- Are over 80.
- Take 4 or more medicines each day.
- Have started using a stick or other walking aid.
- Have poor sight or hearing.
- Have become unsteady on your feet or are housebound.
The service is for people in all types of housing: council, housing association, private tenants and owner occupiers.
What if I am a patient at St John's Way Medical Centre?
St John’s Way Medical Centre is working with this service. If you would like to contact us through the practice, ring them or call in and ask them to pass your request onto Mobile Repair.
Can I contact the service through other organisations?
Yes, we are contacting all local community services and voluntary organisations. You should be able to contact us through any of these organisations. We have a referral form they can fax to us.
