How much will this cost me?
Until March 2004 these safety checks and most remedial work will be absolutely free: this includes equipment fitted and the labour costs. Where something falls outside what this scheme can provide we will try to help you get the work done through another service.
For some hazards, the service will offer to contact other services but will only do this with your agreement.
